Services

Installation

We will come design your irrigation system to fit your yard. Whether it be drip irrigation or sprayers with timers (wifi compatible) we will customize to your specific yard, and needs.

All our irrigation installations are designed with the customer in mind, meaning we will install external shutoff valves to ensure servicing is a breeze.

Your installation comes with your first year’s spring startup and winterization known as a blowout.

Maintenance Package

We will check in once per month for a fee starting at $50 (pending yard size). This entails giving the yard a once over: from looking for dry patches, to running a test program on the timer to see that all the sprinklers are functioning properly (ex. turning and spraying correctly).

About Us

Erdelac Irrigation was co-founded in 2022 by owner Trevor Erdelac who has over 15 years experience as an industry expert, and his brother Travis Erdelac who has been a plumber for the past 10 years prior to starting Erdelac Irrigation. We sell all Rain Bird products to utilize in your custom irrigation system. We provide you with free quotes with no obligation to purchase. In addition, we provide spring startup and fall winterizing (known as fall blowouts), as well as a maintenance package of your choosing. Which is something new to Norfolk county.

FAQ

Automatic Sprinklers

Will an automatic sprinkler system use more water than I am currently using?

No. Infact, an automatic sprinkler system may actually save you water. A well designed, efficient irrigation system applies exactly the amount of water needed by your landscape.  You will never again have to worry about wasting water if you forget to turn off the hose.

Will an automatic sprinkler system water as well as I do by hand?

An automatic sprinkler system will do a more efficient job because it will be designed based on your landscapes diverse watering needs, using specific products designed to water grass, trees, shrubs or garden plants

We generally get 40 or more inches of rainfall a year. Do we really need a sprinkler system?

If it rained at your house every three days, the same exact amount each time, you probably would not need a sprinkler system. But nature doesn’t work that way, and the only way to ensure a healthy, lush yard is to make certain that your lawn and plants receive a regularly timed and evenly measured amount of water. In the dry season when there is little or no rain, your plants can suffer stress and damage after just a few days without water

What are the components of an automatic sprinkler system?

A typical system is comprised of a controller (which functions as the brains of the system), valves (which open and close to release and stop the flow of water to underground pipes) and sprinklers (which dustribute water to specific areas). The sprinkler system can be customized further with rain shut off devices, soil moisture sensors and drip irrigation zones.

Can I save money by installing my own system?

Product cost is only part of an efficient irrigation system.  Many people choose to hire an experienced professional irrigation contractor who will bring years of experience designing and installing the most cost-effective and efficient irrigation systems. Contractors have also invested heavily in specialized installation equipment to help speed up the job and many have gone through detailed training courses and certifications.
